I remember as if it happened yesterday

September 11, 2001

I was sitting in my 4th grade math class..my teacher was ms.forsyth and she turned the tv on and we started watching the news. being a 9 year old i wasnt a fan of the news..i didnt know what was going on, i didnt even know what the twin towers were, all i remember is all the dust and they kept showing the footage of the towers falling. almost ten years later, this event has changed america. I have had multiple assignments on this particular day and it always broke my heart.people lost their loved ones not only from being in the planes or towers but from the firefighters and nypd. today will go in history books and will definitely be remembered always.

 I am so very grateful to be an american and so very grateful for our troops.
