james taylor has always said it best;
i return to my stupid little hometown of two rivers and two circles in 9 days.. oh but eden how i have actually missed thee. your amazing bridge that everyone hangs those oh so stupid sheets on. {ive secretly always wanted one up for me} highway 14 and kings highway: how everything i have ever wanted were on those two streets. wendys shake and fries that i would always get on sunday.[ sarah would always buy them so i wouldnt break the sabbath..genuis?i thought so too] the walmart where lou and i would spend our weekends cause its her most favorite store ever. late night runs to cookout for a HUGE cheerwine..seriously its called huge. biscuitvilles beautifully made biscuits and seasoned fries that would always satisfy our tummys on saturdays after a crazy friday night. the swings at central that i would always go to if i wanted to be alone or if i wanted to gossip with my redfriend or taloula. the greenways long track of woods. draper and all of its ghettoness. sonics happy hour. elizabeths pizza after every soccer game. sakura with red cause shes basically a japanese person. the sunday drives gingersnap and i would take every week through the back roads of the country as the sun would set. (we were quite romantic) we found our first child on one of these drives. {miss you babygirl} family video, the most happening place in all of eden..it would also present our eyes with the newest releases for our viewing pleasure. the kinney compound on the weekends was the place to be or you were officially the biggest loser ever. berry hill rd was always a danger at night with the deers and the amazingly amazing way you could drive 100 mph and never get caught {atleast i never did} oh and the drive in..what eden is most famous for..where weed is dealt and babies are conceived ..oh but only if you parked all the way in the back.
vanessa always told me that if i stayed close enough to where i could come home every weekend, i would never experience anything..and boy was my mother right. [shes a smart one, that boston is] im glad i moved 2000 miles away, it makes me appreciate my roots, cause i never did when i actually lived there. ps- vanessa doesnt even like north carolina, shes dreams of the day all of her children will be neighbors and we will have sunday dinner at her house every week in UTAH, of all places. lets just say once im done with school and once i find my better half..ill be making sure we go back to nc..nowhere near eden, but most definitely north carolina. {get over it v} im excited to go home and see my bestfriends and my family. its definitely needed, and we will be taking our annual family vacation down to myrtle beach..which is always my favorite cause who doesnt like that beach?!
..crazy people like these two thats who.
happy hump day.
